I never understood the whole more hours = better player menality. I do understand an agree that more hours=better rewards. This game sounds like it might be hard because of the ai as apposed to hard becuase you have to camp 72 hours striaght just for a chance at uber rare drop number 4. Also they have stated there will be raiding and some hardcore elements: honestly this is the amount of time I was thinking about when I first latched onto this game. The core gamer as brad has desribed it seems to fit me to a T. There are going to be times that I play a bit more, but there are also going to be times when I play a bit less.
