CORE players

When I first joined Vanguard Boards nearly 2 years ago part of the attraction was that it would be aimed at players like me. I have a life and responsibilities outside playing games. I do consider MMORPGS to be my Hobby and I take the game seriously. I have made more friends online than in real life.

Since joining the Vanguard boards appeared to be taken over by a group of MMORPG Enthusiasts looking for a niche hardcore game and that Vanguard was going to be that game.

My friends from my old guild were put off by this elitist attitude and Vanguard has gained a Hardcore reputation.

Now Brad during Vanguard reiterated that the target client base was those that played a few hours most days and sometimes longer during weekends and I guess Holidays.

How does this positioning of Vanguard affect your attitude to the game?
