I'm going to shock everyone and say that I (A Canadian gal) absolutely detest hockey. I find it a very silly sport, with grown men actually fighting over a piece of black rubber.
Give me football though.. now THERE is a sport worth watching
There's a bit of creativity to it. And you actually have to use your head a little too.

(For the longest time, I thought the little pouches they wear near their stomachs were for carrying their gloves in. I have since found out that it's for keeping their hands warm on cold days. Who woulda thought!)**
