Hello, my fellow Vanguardians,

Several weeks ago, we announced that players can flag their characters to be copied to the Test Server at the next transfer cycle. Unfortunately, a series of unfortunate events have prevented these copies from occurring, including evacuations, wild fires, and the development team moving to the main offices. And with last Friday's broken patch, the transfer was delayed even longer so that we could correct the problems and push out a stable build.

However I am please to announce that you shall no longer have to wait! The servers will be coming down in a few minutes for the first character copy service. The estimated time for completion is unknown, being our first cycle. However, you can anticipate the server being unavailable anywhere from 1 to 4 hours.

I would like to remind everyone that the purpose of the character copy service is to help bring population to the test server, and to assist you with the people and materials needed to effectively test the new content as it comes along. You are encouraged to copy your characters to the test server as often as you'd like, but keep in mind if you copy the same character again, the previous copy will be deleted. These copied characters are permanent, however if you have more than 8 characters on the test server some characters will appear to be "missing" until you free up character slots.
