For me, I played a paladin in beta, but when it came to starting live, my friends and I decided we'd all start in the same place (Leth Nurae). Paladin was already taken before I found out (benefit of being de facto Guild Leader is picking your class first, I suppose.
) So, I took a look at the options and chose Ranger. And, I can't say I regret the decision at all, as I've had the most fun with her.
