Found it by looking in vanguard/bin directory and sorting by time.
There was a drox ui xml file and a user.ini or vanguard.ini (sorry forgot) - I looked at the contents and it was all controls and things I didn't really intentionally override.
I renamed it and started VG. This solved my problem and I had my controls back to normal.
