Remember, since anyone can decon now, you can test this out for yourself.
If you don't craft on test the resulting dusts / resources won't do you much good, but you can at least see what works and what doesn't, and I'm sure there will be folks on the /test channel who will take dusts and the like off your hands if you have no use for them.
So far I've not had any issues and have deconned a bit of everything, but no higher than T3. I've also only deconned for dusts.
