I had decided a long time ago to focus on Str, Con, Dex with some left over for Vit (I'm a Paladin). For a DK, I would recommend Str, Con, Dex with some left over for Int. As a human I gain 5 str, 5 con, 5 dex, 3 vit, and 1 in int and wis per level. If you were a human DK I'd say go 5 str, 5 dex, 5 con, 3 int, 1 vit and 1 wis (or maybe 2 int, 1 vit, and 2 wis).
If DK's are like paladins, when you get your wardship armor which is class specific, it will list str, con, and dex stats on it. All paladin armor is str, dex, con. This tells me that this should be our focus stats, the other stats give us minor benefits and shouldn't be a primary focus.
In other words, if the character selection stats pointed you at str, dex, con and the class specific armor points you at str, dex, con.....then maybe you should focus on str, dex, con as this is obviously the primary stats for your class. If Paladin armor had str, con, vit or DK armor had Str, dex, int then maybe you could imply that the devs were showing you that vit for paladins and int for DK's was more important than we thought. But as it stands now, everything points to Str, Con, Dex as all tanks primary stats, with some variations in what we would spend left over points in.
