I have tried a few specifications, and found that a Primary STR and Secondary INT/DEX seems to work best for me.
STR - Main use is increasing your damage. Used to be a minimal effect, but now STR has a significant effect on your damage. IMO, you should always try to max this.
DEX - Main use is avoidance and crits. IMO, not as effective now as it used to be, but I can't verify this. Even so, this is a valuable attribute and even if you don't max it, never let it fall behind.
CON - On the surface, this looks like a great stat for a tank since it increases HP. The return per point on this skill is awful, however. If you're worried about your HP, you will see much larger returns by using HP-focused gear. While I may consider respeccing for some CON when raid content is implemented, right now I don't put anything in this attribute.
VIT - Not a major DK stat, but not completely useless. at higher levels we tend to run out of mana very quickly, since we have small pools but our spell costs at high levels are extremely high. There are enough classes that buff mana regen, though, that I wouldn't reccommend VIT.
INT - Another important attribute for a DK. The boost to spell damage is nice, but what makes INT mandatory is that it also affects taunts and taunt componets of damage abilities. You don't have to keep this maxed if you think the poits are better elsewhere, but don't let it fall too far behind.
WIS - Not a major stat, but don't neglect it completely since it does affect mana pool and target ID. I get 2/level here as a Vumlane and I have never wanted to add more.
Edit - I missed that you'd picked Kurasha as your race. IMO, they are a fairly good DK race, much better than my Vulmane
. I believe they get 2CON/2INT? If so, I wouldn't worry about raising CON any more. The 2 INT is good, but I'd still recommend putting a third point into it each level.
