I have a lot more dexterity then strength currently. I am not 100% sure what good it would do to switch to strength primarily over dexterity. That stinging cut and blades bite every 30 seconds is probably going to be more aggro then what strength gives you. The extra block chance opens up more windows for aggro with shield attacks, but those are also timed. I block quite often enough to keep all my block abilities going.
Least with keeping dexterity you get more options for aggro. With the nerf to regular swing dmg, it makes crits that much more critical.
For aggro I usually have a little trouble holding aggro, not going to lie heh. But I have found there is usually only one person in the group I have to worry about. 99% of the time its the damn bards, I keep them on defensive target, spam taunt, taunting strike and kick as endurance allows and pop the mob with any specials that happen in between. When someone yanks aggro ( typically bard/ranger) I have them on TD so I can withdraw them.
Something I noticed and im sure everyone has noticed this is aggro takes awhile to shift. I have found that if I pull with infuriating shot it gives me a good advantage on aggro. I feel that im more likely going to have problems getting aggro on the mob then losing it.
Hopefully one of these days these guys will learn to manage there aggro. I played a wizard in Everquest for 8 years. I had a tough time with aggro no matter who had what uber weapon and how good they were. I just had to adapt to my environment.
What they need to do to us is make taunt work like it did in EQ. Where taunt takes you to highest aggro person on list +1. That way when they gank aggro from us we can pop taunt and spam a couple quick attacks. Giving us a chance to hold aggro after getting it back.
