It isn't always obvious when code will be moved to live since the devs make use of the test server for several things and it takes a good scan of the boards to fully know what their intent is.
Most fixes are up live within a week or two if not sooner (recently much sooner). However, the devs also use the test server to try out concepts that may never make it to the live servers; usually if they are putting up a concept change, they say so and ask for specific feed back. Other times, the test server serves its primary function of letting the dev's know when they try to sell wine before its time and the changes get rolled back.
