Some time back I also started working on a web atlas.
I recently started working with Soresha to fill it with map markers.
An online map of Telon created using the Google map api:

Features- Detailed maps.
- over 3000 PoI markers
- Marker category filters.
The Atlas is a joint venture between me and
Soresha.
The maps are provided by me and Soresha provides the PoI data for the map markers.
Many of the markers have been gathered by the vanguard players using Soresha's PoI gathering system
