My torture upgrade at level 42 that I trained last night was a whopping 20% energy increase (200 up to 240) and it does 10-20 extra damage per tick. I can't even tell that I upgraded it, except that it digs deeper into my mana bar. Why exactly can't torture scale? It's a spell, it doesn't get better because of weapon damage. We don't get +spell focus on our plate very often. This skill needs to be improved at levels 30+.

The new version of Shadowy Veil makes it obvious that the skill needs an upgrade. Perhaps it should be a "stealth" and not an "invis" or something so that's actually good. The only time the damn skill was ever *awesome* was when doing CRs, and certainly you aren't trying to make CRs super difficult? All you have to do to discourage mobs from seeing invis is to throw the odd see-invis mob into a dungeon. See: mosquitos in VT, or Dancing Flames in Vi'Rak for examples on how to build a dungeon so that invis isn't the be-all end-all. But at least we could occasionally retrieve a corpse in some dungeons (TK for instance). Now? It's useless for anything other than out of combat travel. I know that wasn't the intention of the skill, because it has an 80 second cooldown and an *invis component*.
