1) Scythe of Doom -- our AE lifetap attack, is supposed to hit all mobs in front of us for damage, and we gain the damage back as HP.
Currently the ability misfires frequently. Previous to Mar28, it seemed to misfire once in a blue moon, but now it misfires repeatedly, sometimes for 20-60 minute stretches in certain areas. The Arena near Strandan and the Shidreth Mines between CIS and River Valley are two such areas where I've recently noticed that Scythe of Doom almost *never* works.
2) Shield of Fear -- This ability, a defensive finisher, adds +2% block per level of DC at the time it is used. If I am at DC4, I should gain 8% block for 3 minutes. The buff provided by this skill does not seem to increase our block % accordingly, as I was at 14% block before, and after, applying this buff. I've tested several times.
3) Dark Bastion -- This ability, a defensive finisher, adds +100 AC per level of DC at the time it is used. If I am at DC4, I gain 400 AC from this buff for 3 minutes. While I only get a single buff icon, a DC2, DC3, and DC4 version all stack with each other.
4) Related to the above 2) and 3) -- several DKs have recently requested that these skill change to "slide" down if we switch mobs, or kill one and pull a new mob. It's not a bug. It allows us to maintain our DC4 (for example) AC buff from fight to fight and is on the same level as the paladin AC buff or warrior mitigation buff in that regard. I'm not sure where the impression that this is some sort of bug has come from, but I'd like to put this on my list in the "Not a bug" category -- to hopefully save you some time Xaices.
5) Shadow Step -- the skill which teleports us behind a mob to allow us to perform a rear attack such as Harrow, has a couple of issues.
Most random failures during combat seem to result from an auto-attack swing. If I push Shadowstep and wait for autoattack to fire, I receive an error message: "Failed" on my screen and in my combat log, reads: "This ability can not be used with shadowstep." I then have to push Shadowstep *again* to re-activate it.
There is another random-failure bug which I can't explain, where it actually uses the energy and places Shadowstep on its cooldown, but doesn't actually work. This bug is particularly nasty as Harrow is our largest lifetap and is absolutely necessary to have access to it when we need it!
A third Shadowstep bug that I've observed is, perhaps, terrain-related. Occasionally when trying to use shadowstep+Phantasmal Blade (mez) for example, it will simply fail if the mob has his back or shoulder against an object. This is fine -- if there's no space behind the mob and this is a legitimate limitation of the ability -- then we need a message saying such. In either case, it should not use the mana and engage the cooldown, but it does. A few other times, it will teleport us inside a wall, rock, or pillar though these are obviously not DK-specific.
