hey guys, i am a DRK occasionally trolling war boards because I do not want to be the kind of guy saying this class is good or bad or what not without knowing the true thing or 2 about the other classes. Plus my non-english speaking friends are playing a war, so I pass on the news to them that I read here, and it is really helpful, so I hope you do not mind.
I wanted to say a few words about stats.
I am wielding a really good 2H weapon, and I get about 15sh str and dext on it, and about 220 HPs, I do not believe I saw a combo of DW weapons that get that much, so I am not sure about DW stat potential.
What I would truly expect though, is DW having a higher and more smooth average damage curve, as opposed to a spiky 2H dmg curve, because of lucky series of crits and what not. DW hits more times and thus should mathematically offer a smoother curve of consistent damage. As a DRK tanking with a 2h, I find that I have to score a few heavy hits starting combat timeframe to have a fun fight after that, and if I do not fill my "quota" of damage done in the first 5 seconds, I might be forced to engage into rescue tanking.
