Anyone with the same weapon, weapon skills, and dex/str is going to do the exact same white damage with a ranged weapon. It's not going to get nerfed.

It's also matched and exceeded by a critting offensive caster. You could be on the high side of the curve right now with a nice new weapon and upgraded arrows, but it's not uncommon for others to be right there with you.

Also remember, ranged damage is clicked and counts as a special action. Performing that action every 2 seconds when it refreshes prevents your endurance regen. So you are not gaining your endurance back when you are chain spamming arrows. It doesn't effect you on pulling, but it would be a consideration when you fear a mob after being engaged in melee where you are probably low on endurance.

Your higher white dmg with the bow is balanced out because you are going to have to trade that slightly higher white dmg when the mob is feared for zero endurance regen. So what does more dmg....bow white dmg or your 2hander white dmg plus burning your endurance abilities? You'd have to evaluate that based on the two weapons.

That is why rangers when soloing even con 2 dot trash mobs usually burn all their ranged endurance specials on a mob then forget about snare kiting and go toe to toe with the mob, choosing to use melee dmg and let their endurance regen...then blow the mob up with one of their endurance chains.
