This quest in on Thestra, quest giver is in the outpust northeast follow the road of Trengal Keep.


Description is pretty lucrative, and sounds like a heroic item in the making... "patience, tough, etc"

basically quest is a pain in the ass. I traversed Landsview castle with a group up down left and right, through rooms packed with up to 8 ghosts... and those rooms are very small. But aggro range is not too bad. typically pulls would range from 2-4 to up to 12 when someone would seriously screw up (aka myself, using AOE in there). Mobs are almost uniformly level 23-24, everything is 4-5 dots, nothing runs. Mob classes looked like tanks, occasional spell caster and healers. Nothing special. My grp average level was 25-26 and we had DRK (me), RNG, CLR, BM, BRD

Quests initially talks about recovering 2 armbands, and it is a major pita. We looked everywhere but havnt found anything laying hanging or on the mobs.

Eventually we figured it out - rare drop from orc ghosts is a parchment, that is not marked for quest or anything like that. It looks like a regular trash loot drop (but it doesnt get auto assigned but auto loot system), so u gotta pick it up. Once you read it, it gives you a quest to handit in, which starts a little NPC war event, where bunch of peasants and their Lord leader try to hopelessly kill 2 orc bosses. Those bosses have bracelets on them. 1 parchment spawns 1 event, and per about 30-40 mins of farming 1 person can complete the quest.


So, I went and turned it in. It gave me enchanted version of same armbands. It also SPOKE about a follow up quest, but it didnt have it available to pick up. It said to go find NPC named Sage Exelun, somewhere in a room on the wall of Trengal Keep, to keep looking into Crux of Trengal supposedly or something along those lines. Regarding bracelets, it said they are now attuned to the father of the 2 orcs we killed in Landsview, and sent me on a mission to find out about the other 2 children, saying that later I will be able to combine the armbands into something spectacular.

My questions are:

Has any1 progressed further than I did on this quest?

Does any1 know or has ever seen sage Exelun in Trengal and can point me in the right direction as to where to look for him/her?

Does anyone know even approximately what reward level is, and is it worth the time investment?



Judging from the fact that these things are armbands, I am assuming reward is armband... Judging from fact that this quest is a (group) quest with a description of something hard and a promise of harder things to come stated directly in the quest text, i am assuming reward is at least Heroic level.

So, if anyone of folks who would read this, could help me out, I would apreciate. Otherwise I will keep ya all posted on development of this quest for me, and what the rewards are.
