Personally, I never have a problem with item durability unless I die in PvP where I take a 33% hit. Soloing or tanking I usually end the day still on 100% or 67% at the least. If I leave it a day or two this might go down to 33. I hardly ever break anything. That being said, when I do repair it is quite expensive. I have 7 gold at level 28.

This is my own personal experience and I am wondering why it differs from others. Could it be due to the fact that item durability works differently on PvP servers?
