Ah, well it took me 500 in BC (around 2 hours work) but I've heard others say that it's not always 500, that sometimes it's only 300 just depending on the race/race matchup. I'd plan on 500 though. You know 3 rivers is just south of there and has lots of quests right? I'd suggest doing those while you're getting your faction up.
