I play an Orc, but I'm in the same boat as you. The spiders in KE will give you dorf faction as will the bugbears south of 3 rivers I think? Someone in my group last night said that fairies are easy kills and give faction, but I couldn't say where they're at. It can be done though, just look around. The bandits north of 3 rivers might also.
