Warriors are supposed to make up from their lack of utility from superior DPS in offensive stance. In fact, they are so devoid of utility no amount of DPS can make it up. In beta, they hardly out-DPSed DKs either, hence probably the source of our nerf come live. However, Sigil say they want to keep the tanks equal in aggro generation.

At the moment though, it's Warrior > Paladin > DK. To top it off Paladins have better rescues too.

during beta at no time did dk have superior DPS over warriors till the last two or three days when DC5 was actually working or DC in general was working.

the entire time I was in beta the DK was and still is inferior in tuant (one stinking taunt that is a lame excuse of a taunt on top of that) no exsistant buffs/debuffs, seriously underpowered and often resisted rescues, and weak VERY weak DPS.


The class and its skills are purely DPS in nature, all of them are DPS in nature and they have effectively removed the DPS which has killed our hate generation.

Tested the new supposed to have more hate associated with our skills this patch and guess what nothing has changed. I honestly am starting to think they really have no clue how to one create a tanking class and that includes all their tanking classes and how to honestly and correctly fix something without meddling in it once they do fix it.

Sad it else where they made a DPS tank in DK and now they need to give the DPS to the tank to maintain or gain agro. A same lvl warrior that starts the encounter and knows what they are doing will maintain agro no matter how much you try to pull agro from them (at lvl 15 for reference).
