I'm currently awaiting the 30th when i can finally jump into telon. I was in the beta, but went to eb games too late and they were out of preorder boxes
Anyways, I've been trying to decide what class i'm going to play. Right now i have it narrowed down to either a rogue or a warrior, and I'm wondering what you all thought of the vanguard warrior from your experiences in beta? I mostly played a ranger, and I did make a rogue as well which i enjoyed. Thing is, my friend is making a rogue, and I've always played a dpser in the past, and while rogue is probably gonna be a fun class from what i've read and played, and it woudl be cool to be a dual rogue team with my friend, I'm intrigued by the thought of tanking in Vanguard as i've always had a thing for it but never truly done it as a main. And plus a warrior would probably complement a rogue nicely if it were just me and my friend doing some light grinding/questing. So what are your thoughts of the warrior? And how are they compared to other tanks- I know I don't want to play a paladin (I might rp, and I'd rather be a bit more of a badass :P ), but I might want to be a dread knight. However for some reason I'm a bit more drawn to the pure tanking of the warrior. So how is the comparison? Have you found any tanks to be 'preferred' at all by groups? 'Cause I know in other games paladins because of their heals can get chosen over warriors or something like that. I want to be (if I prove myself) to be one of the top choices for main tank on high end raids later on, and not just have to watch paladins or dread knights tank while i give moderate tank dps. And of course I want to be picked for groups! No one likes getting picked last. What are your thoughts? And even though this is a warrior forum and it'll prooobably be bias.....warrior or rogue?!
