Well, 10 seconds can turn out to be the difference between victory and defeat in a raid setting. How many hardcore raiders here can attest to the number of times they would have won a fight if they could have kept the tank up for 10 more seconds? How many fights have ended with the boss at 1% or even worse 0% for those truly huge hit point bosses? I can't even begin to count the number of times my guilds have lost within those margins. Not to mention, 50% (if that is correct) evasion for the first 10 seconds of a fight with a melee boss that is laying out some serious damage could mean the difference between getting the fight started right, and an outright wipe within the first few seconds.
The experienced raiders all know that every second counts and every ability adds up to the "BIG W" in the end.
