1) Humility: Do not get upset when the DPS leaders get all the credit for kills or get those big damage numbers. Your job is to keep the mob in one place and looking at you. If you want to feel better, look at how little damage everyone else took. If nobody else died, and all the damage was on you, take pride knowing you performed your duties.
2) Constant communication with your puller. You have to have faith and communication with your puller, to know which mobs are coming, what is being snared / rooted / mezzed, and what mob you need to hit first.
3) Stay just on top of the aggro / hate list. If possible, stay just on top of the hate list, but save any special moves you have in case needed. It is a shame when a monster leaves you for your healer, and your special move that generates hate is on a cooldown.
4) Do not watch your health bar. This is your healers job to worry about, not yours.
5) keep looking around for wandering mobs.
6) Always let everyone else know when you are switching to a new enemy.
7) If you are also playing puller, wait until the rest of your party is ready. You are NOT Conan, don't think that you are.
8) Just becuase your healer healed you does not mean go get more mobs. He/ she still needs to regenerate his / her mana first.
9) If you know the party is going to wipe, do not run! You hold the mob until you die, hopefully giving your rezzer an opportunity to save himself, thus being able to rezz the party after.
10) Be nice to your healer. Give him perishable items that help him perform his job better.
