That's a really good question. What makes it difficult to answer / decide on is the fact that it seems that VSoH has a healthy mix of both 'Horde-esque' and 'Alliance-Ish' types of races on each continent.
For me, it'd be something like this if you wanted to split them into two groups:
Horde - Vulmane, Mordebi, Lesser Giant, Varathariz (Even though not much known), Dark Elves, Goblin, Orc
Alliance - High Elf, Halfling, Wood Elf, Half Elf, Kurasasha, Gnome, Dwarf, Thestran
All the other races I can't make much of a decision about, but with what we have, that's the list that came to mind when thinking of WoW...
