Firstly hello to everyone

Im the new guy on this forum hehe

(not new to VG just new here).
I'd like to add my thoughts on Avoidance vs Mitigation, or at least how i see it.
You can have Warriors as the best avoidance while the paladins as best mitigation and balance it easy if you do the following.
Lets say the base tanking stats are 10% parry, dodge, block adn 50% dmg mitigation.
A paladin being the mitigation tank may have 5% parry and dodge, 20% block and 50% mitigation.
The warrior on the other hand might have 15% parry, 15% dodge, 0% block and 30% mitigation.
The only tricky part here is how do you balance dmg absobtion with the parry dodge. The parry + dodge vs block is easy to balance. If Block is 30% then the total of dodge and parry should be 30% aswell.
The hard part is finding out the balance forumal between partial hits vs full hits.
So if Warrior COMPLETLY avoids 30% of the dmg how much dmg should block and partial absorption (due to armor) to even it out?
Its really quite interesting to balance the most offensive tank to tank with duel wielding while the most diffensive to use sword and board and get overall the same results
