I am wondering how much of an effect being a DK would have on diplomacy. If they are supposed to appear menacing, then that should have some negatives to it. On the other hand, I don't think DK's care all that much for diplomacy anyway.
"You don't want to sell me that sword for 2 gold coins? I should break you in two."
"PLEASE, leave me alone."
"Bah. Your not worth my time anyway. I shall just have to go find a blacksmith with more of a backbone."
Sure it wouldn't play out that way, but it is something to think about.
