Typically I'd say dark elf, but that would seem to common and Vulmane does seem awesome, but also common. I'm big at trying the different route. But this is a big debate that's been buging me, and I really want to hear what others have to say bout their race choices, of course we don't know stats at this point but just on the "feel" of it.
I think High elf would be an interesting twist, I was pretty shocked to see them as dread knights.
