I'm active duty airforce now. After a year in the IL army guard I went active AF cause the army wouldn't let me do anythign fun with my color vision the way it is.
Bootcamp, Army BCT anyways, was a blast. You'll hate it while your there, but once you get to the end, if your instructors were good, you'll realize that you've done more than you thought possible and you'll think back to it fondly. Of course if you instructors suck, then your just going to hate it and wish you had never joined.
But welcome to the service probie. After years, I'm seperating come March of next year. No more uniform when I come to Iraq. I'll be wearing jeans and a t-shirt next time.
