Who We Are
Throe Legion was originally founded in Shadowbane with a small group of friends who loved to PvP and do what it took to earn respect. Shadowbane, however, was only a short stint before Throe made their mark in Lineage 2 on the Erica Server. From release up until around the release of WoW, anyone who played on Erica knew who Throe Legion was. One of the most respected mercenary guilds on the server, we did our best to uphold great player conduct and earn the respect of everyone. However, that wasn't the case and we did have many enemies that tried to destroy us in anyway they could. After many long battles, castle sieges, and nights of grinding away for our crafters, Throe Legion slowly yet surely became one of the top guilds on the Erica Server. Being the first offical alliance, we had over 15 guilds and 400 players apart of us, making us a force to be feared. However, we stood by our values and continued to be a mercenary guild, helping whoever needed our help for the right price. That didn't however, prevent us from making friends, it was our way of making money and not taking castles from the other guilds on the server, which is how we earned our respect. We had many friends and foes in Lineage and it was definatly the high time of our alliance. Then World of Warcraft released. Many of our members split off and went to different servers in WoW, while some even stayed and played Lineage. However a core did stay together and played on the Magtheridon server, where we were small and few, but did flourish being apart of a great guild and making our way through BWL promptly.
The core members still having contact with eachother, we have decided to bring the guild back for Vanguard and regaining our position as a respected guild.
What We Do
Legion is and always has been about experiencing the game to its fullest extent. We have always been part of the high end PVE and PVP parts of the games we have played. We try not to rush into anything before we are ready so when we do make our move, we do it right.
We strive to be respected and respectful in the games we play, but we like to have fun aswell. We're never too serious when just doing our things, but when it comes into ingame politics, we play with the big boys. Our council and members have many years of experience and we try and run things in a democracy. We try and hear things out and see what people want to do before we make a final decision on anything.
When it comes to PvP'ing, that is obviously where most of the politics come into play. We do try to make the right decisions and not to fight for nothing when it comes to this, because we have learned, picking the wrong fights leads to wrongful enemies. We learned this the hard way, so we do try and pick our fights wisely and not engage in what we cannot win. However, there has been and I'm sure there will be times where we decide to go out and hunt for our enemies and have a grand ol' time with them
PVE'ing.. Ahh, that makes you uber
Legion has always been on top of the PVE game. Swift leveling and making sure everyone has up to date gear and not being left behind is something we do very well. Always having groups out and farming for what is needed is something we do on a daily basis, and with the help of our members we strive to ensure everyone is prepared for whatever lies ahead.
Who Runs Legion?
Throe Legion was formed by myself, known as Soce at the time, and my room mate, Sinarth. We took what was a small guild of friends and turned it into a force. From there we met and ran politics with other guilds and slowly built up to be a strong force and tend to do the same. However, with the absense of Sinarth will not be enjoying Vanguard with us due to work, we have brought in our council which has experienced the game with us for many a year. Myself, Ryvvn, Vain, and Hutch our the council members, and between us have been playing and running top end guilds for a long, long time.
As I said though, we do make decisions based on how the guild feels. We try and get everyones opinion before making major decisions to ensure everyone is happy with the direction that the guild is moving.
What can I expect out of Legion?
Friends, progression, solid leadership, respect, and honor.
These are all things we strive on and try to make the best out of in the gaming experience.
Is anything required of me?
Ventrilo is a large plus.
Other then that, nothing but the usual. Legion tends to normally house more of the hardcore and experienced MMO'er, but we have had many casual players aswell, who we helped along and brought them up to speed with us. I don't expect this to be any different. If you are looking to be apart of Legion, you need to be able to help, understand, and have patience. We demand respect, and you don't earn respect without the above.
We do require a sense of humor though and being able to take a joke. You'll come across a lot of different people and personalities in Legion, all of which, aren't bad, just a different way of being. There is a chance you won't agree with someone and probably won't like them very much, it happens all the time, it's impossible to get away from. But we try and shoot this in the bud and fix any personal problems before they get out of hand. Keep things to yourself or work it out with the other person, things like this don't need to be public. However, we do like to have fun and crack jokes, who doesn't? So if you aren't a serious busybody, this probably isn't the place for you. We like to advance and have fun doing it while playing, you should too.
