Yeah - I'd like to read that article

I think devs are worried about letting players test "raid zones". They don't want to give anyone an advantage over another. WoW didn't allow players to test Onyxia (40 man Dragon raid) before she was released either. It was buggy for a bit. Devs have a problem. If they let players test a zone, then some guilds may have an advantage over others. If they just do internal testing - they may not find all the bugs/problems that other players could find.
