It's time for the geek report again! January has been our biggest month so far... obviously helped by the exclusive screenshots and fanguard information. Here are some of the statistics for the month:
Total Visitors: 26,224 (10,217 unique IP addresses)
Total Page Views: 77,643
Total Hits: 735,361 (a hit is any time the server sends a file to a browser, so unless things are cached for repeat visitors, each page view results in several hits)
Total Bandwidth: 11.36 GB (12% of our current limit... still plenty of room to grow)
Our slowest time of day was between midnight and 1:00 am.
Our busiest time of day was between 9 and 10 am (some people are slackin' at work!)
Our screenshots were the most popular individual pages. They were viewed 4,855 and 3,854 times respectively.
The Raiding Warrior article was viewed 624 times and although just posted, the Fanguard information Summary has already been viewed 554 times. (Individual threads on the fanguard info on the forums have received anywhere from about 150 to over 900 views).
We were visited by people from more than 60 countries. The top 5 were:
1. United States - 61.2%
2. Germany - 10%
3. France - 5.4%
4. Canada - 5.0%
5. United Kingdom - 4.0%
We had visitors from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The vast majority of visitors came directly to the site. For those that followed links, the majority were from the Official site. Silky Venom was second in referrals, followed by Vanguard Online Welten.
Four different search engines sent people to the site.
Google was the leader with 70.
MSN was second with 29.
59.2% of our visitors use Internet Explorer.
34.6% use Firefox.
2% use Opera.
We had 94 registered forum users at the beginning of the month, and finished with 156.
It was a big month. I'm pleased with the site's progress and look forward to continuing to build our heavy fighter community.
