Although this news is definitely a blow for those planning to play Inquisitors, it's not the end of the world.

I was playing EQ and was in a fairly high end raid guild with a max level character when the Vah Shir was released. I was so enamored with the race that I made a new toon and declared my intention to the guild to switch mains to that character. I continued making our scheduled raids with my old main and leveled the Vah Shir warrior in my off time. After a month or two my cat met the minimum requirements to apply to my guild and I officially switched main characters and started to raid with him. About 6 months later he was completely up to speed and I never looked back.

If the Inquisitor doesn't make it in by launch, people who want to play it will be behind their friends if they switch... but leveling is always faster the second time around, and I'm sure they will be able to catch back up.

Its not the ideal solution, but it can be done.

Personally, I'm going to continue hoping that the Inquisitor makes it in for release as I was pretty much torn between Dread knight and Inquisitor as my class of choice. If its not in, I'll play a Dread knight at release and then decide if i want to switch once they put it in.
