Well, when they say "resistant to fear" I would imagine the passive aura around the DreadKnight *might* be an exception. But maybe not.
But if you look at it another way, the DK has the innate ability to strike fear in opponents. The Pally has the innate ability to ignore fear. This puts them both on an equal plane, not one above the other. After thinking about this for a minute or so, I think it's a cool idea to have them cancel each other out.
And I wouldn't worry about the fear aura being the DK's ONLY advantage, lol...it's just the one thing they decided to tell us about. I'm sure as well, that the Paladin has a lot more tricks up his sleeve than group buffs and Paragon. So I wouldn't worry about it.

I suppose your right, they did manage to release a lot more of the goodies on paladins than they did on the dread knight.
If there's one thing I'm looking forward to, it's putting the smack down on some goody-goody holy rollers!
