I have always liked using spears when I can, the problem is it was always hard to find a good 2h spear to use :/. I loved my Spear of Fire in EQ1 but it and the Deepwater Harpoon were the only two spears I really ever had a chance at using. There was one or two during the Velious era but I never had a chance at those.
In the end I found myself using a staff as my main weapon... Vanazir: Dreamer's Despair was a very nice weapon, but it just didn't fit. I wonder if Vanguard will have similar odities? A Rogue with a Greatsword, a Paladin with a staff, a wizard with dual longswords.
Anyway, I really want to have the option of using the weapon make of my choice then just the one I use cause I think it's the best. Will probably end up useing some 2h sword I am sure.
