Only the forgotten scrolls of Telon know of whom I speak, and know there is truth to this mythical tale. The Seraphim, as they are called, are indeed a mysterious clan, appearing but a few times across the centuries. No one can say for certain what their purpose is, except that their presence usually comes at a time of great peril…but the secret will not be kept much longer…the world will soon know…
Greetings Vanguard community members! It is my pleasure to finally introduce to you a new guild dedicated to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. We are called the Seraphim, and hope to be a large part of this loyal, pre-launch community which Sigil has done an excellent job of fostering for the last several years.
We are a mature, Role-Play & PvP encouraged guild that will facilitate many elements of gameplay for our members. We will support players that cater to the raiding spectrum, as well as crafters, explorers, hardcore role-players, PvPers, social focused players, and diplomats.
It sounds like lot, I know. But trust in the fact that our core group and system of diversity has had tremendous success in previous MMO’s, especially with a 3 year pre-launch presence in SWG and a guild that still is one of the prominent groups on their server to this day. We are officially beginning the search for fresh recruits looking to be part of an all-encompassing guild that strives for quality in every facet of our existence. I’ll also spare you all the ‘best of the best’ talk, as I believe the term of ‘best’ is a fictitious label guilds like to place on themselves.
There is no fair criteria to judge who or what is ‘best’ in the world of MMO’s, so all I can say is that we will try our hardest to be supportive of our loyal members in every area, and give them some great tools- like a website, forums, and role-playing background- to develop their own distinct personality, and to proudly display their in-game avatars to anyone interested in visiting the site and reading about our members.
We also like giving our members the power to shape their organization over time. Our guild is much more of a democracy than a dictatorship. Once a member is accepted into our ranks, he/she has complete voting rights with the chance to make their opinion count on many critical issues we will be voting for before and after the launch of VG.
These members are led by a council of sorts who are referred to as Scions, and it is their purpose to facilitate different areas of gameplay for the regular members. For example, one Scion will be responsible for organizing our weekly raids and excursions, while another might be responsible for overseeing our monetary funds, weapon stores, and supplies, etc. We will be looking for several Scions in the near future, and interested parties who have previous officer or guild leadership experience should check out the ‘Heralder’ sub-section of the site inside the ‘Knowledge’ main section. This is the news area, and instructions for applying to the Scion positions and regular membership will be given here and on the Seraphim forums soon.
