Offensive fighters will have an "intercept" ability. What the differences are between "rescue" and "intercept" we still don't know. It seems that the rescue would be more effective, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I think that it will still be important to try to keep aggro on a heavy tank, but it will be nice to have options available when that doesn't work.
I also like the fact that with these types of abilities, "aggro lock" won't be required for success. The tanks will still be able to do their job, but it will require a bit more attention and skill than just pressing a taunt key or spamming a couple aggro spells. And it will definitely be much less frustrating than trying to depend on weapon procs to maintain aggro, knowing that if you are unlucky and they don't proc, there is nothing that you can do about it. This system looks like it will give tanks a lot more control over things... even if they don't have complete control of the mob
