In response to Eclipses post earlier, I think of a warrior as more of a godless being who instead of worshipping a chosen god, they worship the insane voices in their head. The knights choose to worship a deity, whereas the warrior follows no man. He leads his allies right into the heat of the battle with reckless abandonment, disregarding the minor fleshwounds that the enemy foolishly inflicts when they should have ran in terror. He believes in his weapon and is driven by his adrenaline and anger which increases his strength and pain threshold.
God fearing men will fear the man who fears no God.
