About a month ago I posted some of the website stats. We were averaging 78 visitors a day. What a difference a month makes!
For those interested in this sort of thing, here are some of the statistics for the month of December.
450,186 total hits.
87,601 page views.
12,927 visits.
Daily traffic looked like this:
7:00 - 8:00 am (CST) is our slowest time of day.
4:00 - 5:00 pm is our busiest time of day.
We have had visitors from 58 different countries, and all 50 states in the USA. The breakdown of our visitors by country (top 5) is:
USA - 71.8%
Canada - 6.0%
Germany - 4.3%
UK - 4.0%
Sweden - 1.8%
The vast majority of our visitors come directly to the site (i.e not by following a link). For those that follow links to get here, the official Vanguard site is our biggest referrer, followed by
Silky Venom (thanks SV crew!)
46 people have come to the site via a link provided by a search engine. Google is by far the most common (38 out of the 46), followed by MSN and then Yahoo. Teoma and AOL also each sent 1 person to the site.
60% of our visitors use Internet Explorer. 28% use Firefox. 6 other browsers account for the other 12%.
I always find these sorts of things interesting (shows how much of a geek I really am!) and thought I'd share some of it with you.
I'm glad that so many people are finding the site worthwhile. With the current information drought it is a challenge to come up with fresh content, but once more information starts to be released you can bet that if it is related to the heavy fighters, it will be here on VF.
