Take that idea, and then apply it to what we know of the Inquisitor.
Whereas the warrior will have attacks that open up for melee combos, the Inquisitor will perhaps have attacks that open up combos for allied casters? Let that sink in for a second and think about what that could mean.
Inquisitor in a group with a druid and sorceror;
Inquisitor lands a Mind Freeze spell that effectively 'long-range' stuns a caster.
Druid and Sorceror see their chance and hurtle their most powerful spells in the seconds that follow. Perhaps the enemy caster had a protective barrier that was fueled by his mind; and the Inquisitor conveniently shredded that telepathic barrier...enter nukes!
Just a thought I had.
Also, as I stated so many times before...Inquisitors should have magic perception in place of melee perception. Inquisitors should have rescues as well, but not with their body as a warrior would, but rescuing allies from magic with his mind. Magic barriers, reflecting shields, etc.
If my Inquisitor gets his hands on skills like these, I think I will likely die of starvation because I have a hard time doing anything besides playing him.
:twisted:
And if that's not riddled with insanity, I don't know what is!
