that works for if you have the item in your inventory, however, if I am to read the original request properly, it is to do the same thing for items not yet looted. If an item is still on the corpse, you cannot compare it to your gear by holding down the CTRL button...

unless I'm doing something wrong (or misinterpreting - both completely possible)
