It does. I suspect I was being too subtle, but basically what I meant to say is, calling someone a newbie based on anything you can see about them or think you can tell about them is both short-sighted and intolerant (EDIT -- I'm not calling anyone here that; I'm just pointing out that it can lead to an attitude I've seen many times elsewhere). I've been playing online game for nigh-on ten years now, but I'm not motivated by titles, I'm not particularly motivated by gear, and even if I reach level umpty-ump I don't try to rub anyone's face in it. I'm an altoholic and have dozens of lowbie chars all over the MMO multiverse - does that make them newbs? Does that make me a newb? Appearances can be deceptive. I don't think I qualify as a newbie, except insofar as I try not to get jaded and *never* assume I know it all, though many of my chars sure *look* like newbs.
Clearly I need to get some extra skill points in Subtlety and Making A Point. I'll have to take em out of Rambling and What-On-Earth-Is-She-On-About?
