In this one, we're all (pretty much) going to be in the same boat, so it will take me longer than many to figure things out. Call it "information overload" or whatever. BUT...once I got it, I don't want the game to baby me thru. I want to have to really understand and work thru it. And if I lose a level in the process, it's like _Slicer said...I wasn't ready to be there.
VSoH won't be for the faint of heart or those looking for a free ride to the top. Then again, it's not like the Japanese games that punish you and make things very realistic in their methods. Their philosphy is that death is death, and it's not pretty!
So, as many others have stated in various forums...VSoH won't be for everyone. Try it out and see, is all we can do!

No offense to wow it's prob the best mmo on the market atm, but no thanks if I wanted a game where you could solo the whole way I would get the next kotor (which I will, but that is not the point). The thing that made everquest fun was the challege, the fact you had to get to know others not just that it was my first mmo, becuase uo was my first

. The quests and the fact that some classes are unwanted are the only things I didn't like about eq b4 pop.
Vanguard aready unless they start changing things sounds like it challenging, but not in a stuipd way. You might just have to get to know people/classes. I wish they will/would change the debt thing, but maybe it will be more balanced then eq2 wow debt:confused: . I think it is possible to have a debt death system that works ie causes people to not want to die, but in the end in is just easyier to stick with exp loss and lose a level. After all it is only beta 2 so they have alot of time to fine tune etc.
