Must say Prokofiev's Symphony no. 1. I just
love how it does a sort of faux cadenza from D to D via D, C#, G# A7, D. That's just genius!
My favourite instrument is a Fazioli concert grand piano. If that doesn't count, well, a forest of timpani is always fun!
