They may well be looking into it and just not mentioning it, since it mostly falls under the cosmetic/small potatoes heading. Imagine - a kindly dev pops in here, makes a "yep, we're looking into it!" comment, and the world falls apart with flames from people who retort "Jeez, look into REAL bugs instead you morons!" (or some equally highbrow equivalent).
Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
I'd guess it's something that might get done, someday, but not something that's all that large on the radar atm.
