I too come from EQ2 and my feeling is that I have been simply spoiled there with incredibly functional and easy to use guild functionality and tools. they were in from the day we setup the guild on launch day though so it does beg the question what does Sigil think of these. I see we have some new Ranks which is lovely but as they have no function other than being able to have names they arent used in my guild at the moment

For me this is a huge part of helping me to forge the community. Don't get me wrong we have a strong, thriving guild of over 70 members in the game at the moment but this is one of the things that although not a real game breaker, is certainly a bit of a spoiler for most of us so spoiled in the EQ2 mindset.

I would love to see one of 2 things...

* Some snippets to tell us what they are looking at with regards to guild tools. or...
* Tell us there aren't any plans to include them and then folks can make their own decisions on how to manage the guild or how to live with (or not) the lack of tools.

I must say that in the premium MMOs this is an essential. I don't count WoW in the same bracket as EQ2 and VG simply because its success was built on the play and throw away appeal of the game. Everything was a lot easier and less guild centric from my smaller exposure to the game but its success lay in the ease of play and often lower strategic side of the game in comparison. Not a dig at the most successful MMO to date, just not my cup of tea. I hope Digil and the VG team can look at this as a priority and gradually put in place some tools.

Would I be happier with less game crashes or some guild tools in the next 3 months... TBH more guild tools oddly... and I can't believe myself that I am typing that either

Had ANYONE seen anything or have the Devs that I hear so much about reading these threads got anything at all to say..... it sure would be appreciated
