Re: Guild Leadership

we're still really small at the moment, but I've been in a racing/battle club type thing for a year and a half. Started as a lowbie, and worked my way up to the top........quite proud of it as well.

Anyways, I don't do much besides just be a fair & honest good person. Outside of the game, on our forums, I make sure there's no garbage posts or hate/flame kind of messages. Soon as I see something get out of hand, it's either edited or just deleted. I also have no problem with booting someone, or sending a message of some sort for that person to put themself in check.

What I like to see in game is members helping members. Whether it be helping in a quest in Vanguard, or crafting an item, or some pointers on the race track - it's all good as far as I'm concerned. Fun, helpful people will make or brake a game for me....it's actually what has kept me in EQ2. I was near quitting and I was invited to join a good, and they were just the greatest people......I'm actually an officer in that guild now.

As for abusing my power - I do it all the time.....but all in good fun. It keeps my friends on their toes. I'll edit posts to make them say something funny, or even change a sig or two. I've been known to change a few avatars as well. Had one or two members that were mouthing off, so I changed their forum rank to cheerleader, and got a cute avatar to go with it...........and if they whined about that, Head Cheerleader it is!!

I also try to keep some events going. Can't do tons with VG atm cause we're small - which is my fault, cause I havn't been on much, and definitely havn't recruited much. In EQ2, I tried to do some Arena events to get away from the daily grind - in Forza Motorsport (xbox) I'd tried to keep weekly events going.

Some don't know how hard it is to run this kinda stuff, especially when you run one guild, officer in another, president in this clan, co-leader in another..........needless to say, I do a lot of gaming - but I've had a great time with it so far.
