WoW allowed character copies to the test server from time to time but, the WoW test server wasn't really a fulltime server. It was more up to test specific things then brought down again. It always seemed to be down more then up when I used to play. That was a long time ago though.

One problem they'll have doing it here is this is the old beta server and just about every name under the sun is gone. Going to be more name conflicts then not.
