Oh, and as to OP, hijacking a thread, or derailing one, is often not to bad as long as the OP has not asked for the thread to not be taken off topic. Of course there is always a bit of common courtesy that needs to be involved also. Posting about something unrelated in a "serious" thread can more often then not be seen as spamming, rather then hijacking.
