I think Caestus is about 13-15 years old, so the game is a bit above him. My suggestion to him would be to go play EQ2, as it seems to be the middle ground in all things. Failing that I guess he could open a power-leveling service for WoW, as by reading his posts he has ALOT of free time on his hands.

i respect all others opinions.

but TheKnight you are just an ignorant MORON 13-15 are you kidding me? go play FFXI son seriously go level to 75 on that game and then come back and comment on my age and talking about difficulty on games. WoW lost my interest due to the constant arguing over petty things.

take a look at these if you will:

this is not even the True end game on FFXI, Leveling is fun it is, i enjoy grinding a lot that and end game is what i do. but the way it is set up in Vanguard is beyond pathetic spice it up some i'm not even a game developer and i could think of a few varriations to leveling.

now while Instances are not needed, i could care less for them, but they do have their usses. instead of quests, have missions that take a group of people go do that mission in an Instance type enviroment, and upon completion it gives EXP. the constant killing mobs, doing quests that all feel the same just get's boring over time.

i am a wicked hardcore gamer. always have been always will be i am just tossing out ideas that some people seem to call me childish for. i don't get it i thought adults could handle debates TheKnight obviously you can't.

What a boring whiney load of crap.

I keep seeing all these posts about crashes, about not finding groups, about roll-backs and all sorts of junk. You know what? Stop trying to run the game on highest settings with your adware ridden 486, tweak your system, keep it clean and happy and you won't crash nearly as much. I've had about 3 CTDs since the patch before last (the one which fixed them) went live.

Can't find a group? Join a guild, get involved, stop jumping in to crappy PUGs with all the other clueless idiots.

With regards to rollbacks, I dunno. Re-log? I've never lost exp due to any bugs, I've lost stones which have re-appeared in the summon list after a re-log.

Don't like the UI? Get a new one. Yes it looks like WoW's default layout, and yes, it's pretty ugly. But you can change it. WoW' default UI, EQ2's default UI, they both suck too in my opinion but it doesn't stop me playing.

The leveling thing, anyone that focuses too much on how long it's taking them to level is missing the point, turn your experience bar off and start taking some interest in the game instead of just the numbers associated with your character. If you can't do that then go and play something else, this game is about the journey as much as it is about end-game, infact I'd say at this point it's more about the journey. Enjoy it, what's the rush to get to 50, so you can push that extra +3 on a stat with your uber phat lewt? Stop thinking about every MMO in terms of how bad the "grind" is and appreciate the game itself.

Yes, combat is pretty much the same as every other MMO, maybe you should make the most of it and take a little more interest in weaknesses, chain attacks and your reactions. I dunno, I enjoy it. This is how most MMOs will continue to work until the entire customer base has good enough connections to have realtime hit detection for games of this scale. You'll be waiting a while.

Quests are boring? Do you read them? Do you take an interest in the story behind each quest, the lore in that area? Probably not. Granted sometimes it's nothing special, but more than often the quest progession is quite interesting, if you let it interest you that is.

Reviews? Haha. People really aren't allowed to make up their own opinions in our societies anymore are they? That's like me saying "Hey guys, Justin Timberlake's new album is really, really good, all these reviews said so!!!".
lol while my Ram is sub par for this game my video card and CPU are well above standards for this glitchy game. and did you know Vanguard selects defualt settings based on your PC?! oh my god who woulda thought a game could do that. when i DID crash in the past it was due to Chunking. had nothing to do with my settings on the game.

the game is about the Journey to 50, to you.

i'm not alone when i wanna get to end game or get to level 50.

quests arn't boring?! are you kidding me? kill mobs, collect items. kill mobs, collect items. get a quest where you need to kill mobs and collect items but they are all 4 dots and 2 levels above you! GG Sigil seriously..

in comparison with FFXI Quests and Missions this game has nothing.

they are boring and i can only stand playing this game for 2-3 hours most at a time. if that's what Sigil had intended well i guess they did a good job. also, will i still play? yup i will
